Blake Harrison was born in the Florida Panhandle and raised in Gulf County. As an eleventh-generation West Floridian and seventh-generation East Floridian, he possesses a deep-rooted connection to the state and its heritage. For Blake, Florida is more than a place to live—it is his home, his way of life, and an integral part of his family history.
From an early age, he developed a passion for hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors throughout the Florida Panhandle. As Florida continues to experience rapid growth and development, Blake has become increasingly committed to preserving the state's remaining wild landscapes and natural character—the often-overlooked places he refers to as the "Forgotten Floridas."
Through his company, Forgotten Floridas, Blake seeks to promote awareness and appreciation of Florida's natural beauty, unique ecosystems, and rich cultural history. His mission is to celebrate and preserve the landscapes, traditions, and heritage that have shaped both his family and the state he proudly calls home.
Forgotten Floridas offers guided surf fishing, guided wade fishing, complete fishing gear rentals, handtied fishing rigs, outdoor apparel, handmade outdoor equipment and products.
